WELCOME TO STOKES BAY ! BOAT-IN FISHING AND HUNTING

OUR BOAT-IN ONLY LOCATION on the far east end of Rainy Lake is a remote wilderness renowned for its quality fishing, hunting, and solitude. From the Ash River on Lake Kabetogama we are 23 miles away. We're accessible only by floatplane or boat. We have literally hundreds of miles of wilderness shoreline to fish, hunt and explore. Leave the drive to lodges for someone else and discover this truly remarkable lake.

FISHING  is incredible on Rainy Lake! If you read In-Fisherman magazine then you're sure to have read about this famous fishery. Rainy is well known for it's Northerns, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, and Crappie. There is outstanding fishing May through September for all species. Give us a call and let's talk fishing. We'll show you all of the hot spots on the lake.

OUR FISHNG CAMP is geared toward the working man that wants an affordable fishing trip.
If you want a fancy lodge and fancy prices then this is not your camp.

OUR CANADIAN STYLE OUTPOST CAMP has clean and comfortable cabins ready for you, your friends and family. We have 3 new cabins that sleep 4-6 and the classic big house that can sleep up to 10. We can accommodate group sizes from 2-20.
Our guest register is limited to just 20 people per week so call soon for reservations.

TRIPS ORIGINATE ON THE ASH RIVER TRAIL IN MINNESOTA. THE CANADA/US BORDER becomes very user friendly when boating into Stokes Bay. By respecting the law of both countries we are allowed to
enter Canada without going through the routine border inpection. Our location uses the RABC form. This form is filled out, mailed in and carried on your person throughout the trip.
To learn more about this hassle free border crossing see our "going north of the border " section. Again, read the GOING NORTH OF THE BORDER section for a full information download on licenses, passports and more.

OUR GUEST LIST has people that have been returning to camp year after year and we are confident that all of your group's expectations will be met. Our staff is friendly, considerate and determined to work towards making your stay at Stokes Bay the best possible.

In-Fisherman Magazine has called Rainy Lake
an "Explosive smallmouth bass fishery that has yet to reach its capacity."
